53 Eco Friendly Products To Use In 2021

Reduce. reuse. Rethink..png

Okay, it’s 2021. Can we all agree that we should reevaluate our non eco friendly habits just a little? That, of course, doesn’t mean that your house needs to be filled with nothing but eco-friendly products (although that would be nice) - that’d be like asking a meat eater to go vegan cold turkey (lol). I’m an advocate for something more along the lines of a Meatless Monday situation, something that is sustainable and doesn’t require too much additional effort for the average person to commit to. For example, by going one meatless only one day a week, your meat consumption would decrease by nearly 15%. According to the Earth Day Network, if the entire U.S. skipped eating meat and cheese one day a week, it would be the same as not driving 91 million miles - or getting 7.6 million cars off the road.

ANYWAY - I put this list together to highlight the diversity of eco-friendly products for each room in the house and provide sustainable alternatives to things that you use every day. A huge misconception about maintaining an eco-friendly lifestyle is that it can be expensive, but I’m hoping that a number of the products on this list help prove that idea wrong.

One of the best ways to help the planet and fight pollution is by choosing to buy products that are compostable, recyclable and/or reusable. Full transparency, I’m not perfect and I definitely don’t own everything on this list, but I do keep the environment in mind as much as I can with my purchases. It’s important to put your money where your mouth is when you can. Surprisingly simple changes like these can really make a positive impact.

I’ve listed a positive review for each product from Amazon, and have linked out to each listing so that it’s easy to learn more. I hope this list helps serve as a beginners guide for a more eco-friendly home! What are your favorite eco-friendly products? Let me know in the comments!

1.) These cute reusable Reusable Snack Bags and take the place of the hundreds of plastic baggies you use to store your snacks in everyday. They’re water resistant, and no matter how long you leave snacks in there you won’t get that weird funky plasticy taste.

Screen Shot 2020-04-03 at 5.39.01 PM.png

Promising Review: “These Bumkins sandwich and snack bags are fantastic! I ordered this one first to see if it would suit our needs. I liked it so much I ordered 3 more! This sandwich bag is made of the same water resistant, easy to clean material as the Bumkins bibs (which I also loved). After use you can pop these into the dishwasher and they clean up as good as new. You could also rinse these in the sink with soap and water. Just hang to dry and they're ready to go again the next day!….” - Cree

2.) Stasher Silicone Reusable Bags are probably the most popular of their kind, and for good reason! Their pinch and press seal does a great job at staying air tight and even create a leak free seal.

Screen Shot 2020-04-04 at 3.33.08 PM.png

Promising Review: “I've tried a LOT of reusable bags as there are a lot of options out there all using a variety of materials. The fabric ones just get gross over time. The vinyl ones are hard to clean and aren't usually dishwasher safe. There are other silicone one that need a separate rod to close them that you can easily lose. This one is the most simple and easy to use. No separate pieces to lose. Can withstand any temperature, microwave, dishwasher, whatever. And if they get gunky they are very easy to clean…….” - Megan

3.) Rezip Stand Up Leakproof Reusable Storage Bags are another great plastic bag replacement with an added bonus of being able to store things standing up!

ReZip Bags.png

Promising Review: Great addition to my kitchen. The smallest bag is perfect for holding a half of an avocado and the middle bag holds our chao cheese slices once we open the package. The largest of the 3 we use for snacks when we hike or spend the day out with friends. Great purchase and a very simple way to stop contributing to one time use plastic!!” - Jennifer Jones

4.) Keep food fresher longer with Beeswax Food Wraps , a sustainable, reusable alternative to plastic wrap.

Bees Wax.png

Promising Review: “Can't recommend these beeswax wraps enough. The antimicrobial aspect of the beeswax keeps fruits and vegetables super fresh for much longer than plastic bags. They keep bread soft and fresh for much longer than ziplocs. They are so much better for the environment, and they can be reused for months. We have been using our set for almost 2 years and they are still as good as new. No waste! Just make sure to wash them with cool water, as warm/hot water will melt the wax.

5.) Recycled Aluminum Foil uses 95% less energy to produce since there’s no need to mine the materials.

aluminum foil.png

Promising Review: “I feel guilty about how much extra plastic and metal our family uses. this tin foil worked great, was priced similar to the store bought rolls, and made me feel a bit better about the single use of foil. Fast shipping and a good box to get it out of.” - Christine

6.) Reusable Bowl Covers are such a creative and cute way to keep your food fresh and clean without the hassle of migrating it to a different storage container.

bowl covers.png

Promising Review: “I'm loving these!

I also picked up the Abeego wax coverings in an effort to get away from using plastic and creating waste. These are great for melons, each "lid" stretches to fit a wide range of bowl sizes. I am very impressed.” - Rubytwoshoes

7.) Aside from these Glass Lunch Box Containers being obviously more eco-friendly these are much safer for storing food over plastic. Even when you choose BPA-free plastic, toxic chemicals may get into your food while microwaving. especially when microwaving, even if it says “microwaveable”. You can use these over and over without having to worry about any smell or food tastes lingering.

Glass Box.png

Promising Review: These are spectacular!!! They are airtight so the week's food I do for lunches and such stay fresh for the whole week. They are strong and very durable. The four part latching system insures your food is completely sealed. The seal ring is removable for easy cleaning. The nice pop-top vent allows food to cool if packed in hot . Once cool, close pop-top and stick in the fridge. Husband is rough on things including his lunch box and so far these are holding up so nice!! Many others I have tried have been broken in a matter of days. I love these !!!” - Deborah

8.) Mason Jars are classic. They have truly infinite uses in any household - I use mine for leftovers, as a cup to drink out of, to store craft supplies and of course store leftovers.

Mason Jars.png

Promising Review: “Very nice, great quality. love the measuring features both in metric and USA markings. The raised design and writing on the outside of jar and it being tampered helps us to have a good grip to prevent dropping jar. The inside is smooth and very easy to clean, also easy to get things out of jar. My 316 stainless lids I bought from Amazon work great easy to spin on and off the jar. Makes a great drinking glass that is strong and easy to clean. The tapered sides makes it easy to get plant based meat roast out in one piece. Wow! Made in USA! All USA mason jar lids fit these jars. Great Job Ball Manufacturing Company. I highly recommend.” - Anonymous

9.) If you love straws in your beverage, Stainless Steel Straws are for you. They’re SUPER durable, made to be cleaned and reused hundreds of times and immediately eliminate the need for hoarding tons of one use plastic ones in your house.

Steel Straws.png

Promising Review:It is exactly as described and it doesn't have any metal after taste. For $7.99 shipped to your door (w/ Prime), this is a great buy.” - Lily

10.) Silicone Straw  are the squishy bendy sustainable alternative to plastic straws. They’re surprisingly dishwasher safe, easy to clean and since they don’t conduct heat can be used for hot tea if that’s your cup of tea.

Silicone Straw.png

Promising Review: “Love these! My family is trying to reduce our straw usage, so I bought some stainless steel ones and these. These are great because they don’t conduct temperatures like the stainless steel ones; the stainless steel ones get cold in cold drinks and too hot to drink from in hot drinks. Also, I put a variety of these and stainless steel straws in zip bags to be stored in the glove boxes of our vehicles so that we would have them when we are out-and-about and get drinks on the run: the stainless steel ones got too hot in my glove box this summer to use—I went to get them out and they were too hot to touch!” - Stephanie

11.) There’s no surprise that I have BTW Flipware in every purse so I can always say no to plastic utensils. I love the black nylon case they come in, and most importantly they even feature a handy bottle opener which has saved the day too many times to count.

Flipware.png

Promising Review: “WOW! I'm in love with my new BTW Flipware. I did a lot of research before making my purchase, and unlike the competition, the fork and spoon are the same size as regular full sized silverware (which I love). The quality is sturdy and the handle feels good in my hands - I have to say I'm very impressed by how sharp the knife is.

I love that the fork detaches from the knife so that they can be used in both hands at the same time. Flipware is a new staple in my purse, it even has a bottle opener! I didn't think I would say this, but I'm surprised by the price. For something this functional and stylish under $15 is a total steal. I already know what everyone is getting for the holidays!” - ww18

Making Food & Drinks

12.) There’s something about freshly popped popcorn without all those preservatives that come from bagged popcorn that hits different. This Pop Corn Maker will show you the way.

Promising Review: This thing is terrific! I used 1/4 cup of popcorn kernels, set for 3-1/2 min @1000 watts. There were ONLY TWO unpopped kernels when I finished eating the popcorn. I have never seen such efficiency in any product in the last 40 years. If I didn't see it myself I would not believe it.

Subsequent testing: 2/3 cup popcorn, set for 3-1/2 min @1000 watts. After 3 years of use, this is my ideal setting.” - Gringras

13.) Refillable oil misters make it easier to keep your favorite oil in bulk.

Promising Review: “I was using PAM, or similar, and it worked okay for cooking, but it was a pain for clean up. I had seen other oil misters with pump action, but many reviews said that they would break in a few months, or leaked and just had problems. Then I stumbled upon these EVO sprayers. They are perfect. The broad spray coats nice and evenly. it sprays oil on food as well. It is super easy to fill, to clean, to use. I love it. I bought the 2 pack so I could have vegetable oil and olive oil available by my stove. It is so convenient. There are no clogs, no leaks, no problems. I definitely recommend these for everyone who cooks.” - Lisa Marie

14.) Not only do Silicone Baking Mats help create a more even baking surface, but they can easily replace one use parchment paper and aluminum foil on your baking sheet helping you to save money and the environment both at the same time.

Promising Review: “I will not use parchment paper for baking cookies now that I have these mats. The cookies bake evenly and they are great for cut out sugar cookies. I also use these mats for roasted veggies. Easy clean up! Wished I would have tried them sooner.” - Anonymous

15.) Loose tea requires less processing and energy to prepare than tea bags. Grab yourself a Tea Infuser and find out for yourself why loose tea will always be better than the pre-packaged kind - and that’s the tea.

Promising Review: “I was looking for a "tea ball" or similar to use to steep herbal teas and almost bought one of the cheap ones, despite a few reviews on some saying that the holes were so big it let the tea/herb/etc. itself out (or sometimes that the holes were so small that water could barely get in--sometimes for the same product!). This one costs a bit more, but I'm glad I went with it instead. The holes are so small that all but the most finely ground teas should stay inside, and the holes are so numerous that water should have no problem getting in or out. ...” - R. Morris

16.) These Biodegradable Unbleached Biodegradable Coffee Filters eventually turn into compost quicker than normal paper ones do.

Promising Review: “Finally, I found a a coffee filter that is large enough to properly fit and hold the ground coffee for the Breville Precision Brew Coffeemaker that I recently purchased. Breville does NOT sell filters which is a pain in a kazoo. Finding a coffee filter large enough to fit the bottom and sides of the basket has not been easy. These work great and even when wet and full of wet coffee grounds, are strong enough to allow you to dump them in the trash without falling apart and creating a mess. I chose the brown filters because the white ones are actually made from bleached paper. I am glad I purchased a year's worth at one time.” - Share-a-smile

17.) This Papperless Pour Over Coffee Maker helps you to forget the one use paper coffee filters all together!

Promising Review: “I wanted to give this a long enough test period to write a review, because a few other reviews were talking about it clogging up and not working. First, I love this thing, I've used it every day since purchasing, so a few months now, and I've never soaked it even one time in a vinegar solution... After the first week of just rinsing it out after using, it started to clog up and not work right.... So I used a paper towel with Seventh Generation dishsoap (instead of my dishbrush so I could really get all the surfaces) and washed it good, then rinsed it really well. It worked perfect again after that. Now I do this same thing every 3-4 days of use and have zero problems. The coffee always tastes great and it's so nice to not have to deal with plastic coffee makers. Thank you!”

18.) Most of us get our soda and sparkling water from cans and bottles, but SodaStream users get their customized bubble fix from the comfort of their own home.

Promising Review: “I did a good amount of research before choosing this SodaStream. I toyed with the idea of getting the electric one touch model. But living in Florida during storm season the power can go out for extended periods of time. Then I had to decide between the Fizzi and the Source. A friend of mine has the Fizzi so I decided to get it. It is pretty light which is great if you want to store it on a shelf and only bring it out to use. Thanks to many of the reviews here I had no problem using it and creating a very fizzy/bubbly drink……………..I am excited for future creations!” - Stacey. P

19.) Angry Mama is the cutest, angriest, no-chemical microwave steam cleaner that actually makes cleaning fun.

angry mama.png

Promising Review: “Not only does this really work on the toughest gunk and smells in your microwave, it's super fun to watch. It was cute watching Angry Mama spin around and shoot out her steam. Highly recommend this over using chemicals in your microwave.” - Chelsea

20.) Biodegradable Dish Towels are a great alternative to those one use paper towels in your kitchen.

Biodegradable Dish Towels.png

Promising Review: “I’ve been on the hunt for kitchen cleaning rags and tried MANY. This may seem pricey but it’s a great value because it’s so easy to clean at the sink (or sterile with boiling water), unlike cloths, you don’t need a large supply to always have a clean cloth.

It’s sturdy like a sponge and absorbs TONS of water and it squeezes almost dry, then dries in no time, even when it’s pouring rain. It’s flexible like a cloth when wet/damp and can clean any surface or tight spot. Great for wiping shower/bathroom fixtures dry.

Because it’s so easy to clean with soap and water in the sink or boil to sterilize, there’s no need for a dozen to have a clean sponge/cloth all the time, or to do dirty rag laundry regularly. Great product!!”

- Gilbert

21.) Plant Based Scrub Sponge is a lean green cleaning machine

plant based scrub.png

Promising Review:These loofah dish scrubbers work very well to replace traditional sponges. I wasn’t sure if they would be a pain with absorbency or if they would have an issue getting small pieces of food stuck in them and then smelling but I’ve experienced none of those issues. They are absorbent and sud you with the dish soap easily. I would say, if anything, they don’t hold the soap as much as a regular sponge but they do clean practically all dishes with varying degrees of caked on grime and I’ve had no issues removing the food or with the loofahs stripping anything off my dishes. One loofah lasted about a month before we threw it in the wash and switched to the second one. They don’t break apart but they do become ‘loose’ through constant use. I would expect to have to buy replacements around 3-4 months. Glad they are biodegradable.”  -wwlarado

22.) Composting will make you feel a little better about biting off more than you can chew.

Promising Review: “I never knew how awful my metal compost bin was until I got this beauty! Easy to open with one hand, the bag stays in place, and it's lightweight. Everything that's wrong with the traditional countertop compost bin, this bin solves. Life changing.” -allinone

23.) Biodegradable Trash Bags help make you feel better about being trashy.

Promising Review: “Like a lot of people, I’m trying to cut down on single use plastics. I purchased these bags for kitty waste & litter and they are perfect. I have a small trash can with lid right next to the little box. I placed one of these bags in as a liner just in case and another to hold waste. After a week, everything held up perfectly. I was a bit concerned about how much it would hold since the bottom of the bag is cinched, for lack of a better word. But I really couldn’t be happier. No smells, no rips and it holds a lot. I even emptied out all the Feline Pine into it. As a gamble, I took it outside to dispose of as is (4 flights of stairs) and it still didn’t fall apart. These bags may not look it but they are sturdy.” - TitleTown01

24.) Biodegradable Waste Bags for pets!

Promising Review: “Is it possible to love a dog poop bag? Heck yeah! I'm a veterinarian and I have tried many brands of bags over the years but since I discovered the Earth Rated Dog Waste Bags I use no other. I use the scented bags because on long walks it kind of disguises the smell of the feces (except those that are really potent), so you don't smell like feces to any passerby. I usually prefer unscented things because I have a sensitive nose and for those inclined, Earth Rated does offer non-scented bags………..Overall a very strong, well made bag that has never let me down. It can hold any load big or small, firm or loose and will not leak or tear.” - jaxdoc

25.) Reusable rechargeable lighters are actually safer and more reliable than the everyday disposables.

lighter.png

Promising Review: I love this! I didn’t fully know what to expect when I ordered it, but it’s better than I thought! The best part is that its regargable. We love candles in our house and I hate when the larger candles get low because then the glass gets hot before you are able to actually light it (I’ve broken a glass table by dropping a hot large yankee candle on it) so trust me my fiancé is very happy we got this 😊

- Emma71714

26.) Unlike the finate nature of a battery power pack, this solar pannel battery pack is a power plant in your pocket.

solar charger.png

Promising Review: “I absolutely love this solar charger. It has three USB ports so I can charge my phone and tablet at the same time. It is solar so it perfect for taking with me hunting, fishing, camping or anywhere I go that does not have a ac power outlet. It will change my phone just as fast as plugging into the wall. This is a must have idem with all the electronics I use on a daily basis. Another great thing is, if your power goes out you dont have to worry about keeping your phone changed without power.”

- Deborah Bennett

27.) Outlets that draw zero energy when turned off and as a result help save you money, imagine that.

power strip.png

Promising Review: “These are great and will pay for themselves over and over. This is the long, technical reason why: A "float charger" is what you want to use to recharge a battery, any kind of battery, as it reads the battery level and stops charging when it is full. Electronics manufacturers never use float chargers b/c they cost a little more and instead use "trickle chargers" which never shut themselves off. This means when your laptop battery, cell phone battery, cordless vac battery, etc are fully charged the charging mechanism keeps charging anyways and this destroys your expensive batteries. This new take on an old-school devise provides a work around by allowing you to use those trickle chargers for a set amount of time so you don't over charge your batteries, which are expensive replace……”

- Mark M.

28.) LED Light Bulbs are 80% more efficient than traditional lighting

light bulb.png

Promising Review: “I must admit, after strong the unbelievable price of just over $1/bulb I was a bit skeptical. Especially after seeing one of the top reviews claiming they didn't actually receive the high quality Sylvania bulbs as the box so prominently displays.

Much to my relief however, not 1, but all 24 of the bulbs I received in my Sylvania box were in fact high quality Sylvania light bulbs!! As I swapped these remarkably high efficient sources of light out with the standard incandescent bulbs my house was ordered with I noticed that the new bulbs were actually brighter than their outdated counter parts. This was quite a pleasant surprise!”

- Len Nuanez

29.) This Rechargeable Crank Flashlight doesn’t need batteries and is great for any survival kit.

light.png

Promising Review: “This flashlight is exceptional. It is the perfect addition to our survival kit. It maintains its brightness and lasted well over 2 1/2 hours without re-cranking during night cycling.

Initially, I bought two- one for the survival kit and one for the house. I will be ordering several to give to friends. This is so much safer than candles. Furthermore, it is economical and practical because one does not have purchase/check batteries.” -M

30.) Cloth Napkins have a lower environmental impact of reusable cloth, and score you extra style points

Promising Review: “I'm extremely happy with the quality of these cotton napkins. They're exceptionally well made; corners line up and lays flat (the grain of the fabric is in line and not diagonal), all of the seams are perfect and rolled under to prevent fraying. The weight of the fabric is perfect for a napkin - heavy enough to feel confident that food/grease won't bleed through but not so heavy that the fabric will easily pill.” - Jessica Lewis

31.) Single use plastics are on their way out, compostable cutlery is in

Promising Review: “These are great! I think they might actually be stronger than plastic disposable cutlery.

I especially like the fact that the tines on the fork are pointed, so they will pierce your food. (I find blunted fork tines so annoying!) I haven’t had the chance to cut food with the knife, but they look like they would do the job.

I still can’t believe these aren’t high quality plastic! So strong and durable!”

- BeautyIsAnimate

32.) Most of our garbage ends up in landfills, but these Compostable Plates help reduce our growing trash problem.

Promising Review: “I was looking for something sustainable and with a clean environmental impact but still has the same disposability, efficiency & function of plastic but instead this is way Better!! it has more function since I can safely use in microwave(can’t with most plastic) and after testing with greasy foods like Burgers & salads with dressings and even some creamed greenbean I used as a sauce it still stood up to all of it without any leaks disintegration or any other issues u might think a natural fiber product may have. I will definitely be getting these again!!! Highly recommended!!!”

- Alan

33.) You’re probably only going to use that plastic table cloth once anyway, why not use a compostable table cloth one instead?

Promising Review: “I don’t normally use plastic tablecoths-prefer linen; however I looked for a plastic one (disposable) and I ran into this interesting compostable tablecloth. I decided to purchase biodegradable! (It’s all new to me...) and I was very pleased and impressed with its quality. They were thin, large and served the purpose. Excellent for camping and all kind of outdoor activities as well as for school/office/kids parties. Great price, too!” - Dda

34.) Plastic Straws have been banned in many places around the world due to their negative environmental impact, so let’s replace them with biodegradable ones.

Promising Review: “These are a great alternative to plastic straws! They are sturdy and the perfect size around. They even held up to my thick morning smoothie. Unlike paper straws, these don't dissolve. And unlike metal straws, I can take these on the go and toss them. I like that they are eco-friendly and sustainable. You can probably even rinse/re-use these straws but I haven't tried.” - Emily

35.) Biodegradable Confetti makes mother nature happy.

Promising Review: “These are a great way to add more to any celebration. We used over 100 to really cover our NYE Party. Literally it was a breeze of confetti in the air. Way more than what we really needed.

APPEARANCE
The tubes are visually attractive. The shiny silver exterior helps show a bit of elegance and flair when using these. Well blended in any situation. The confetti inside is vibrant. The colors are solid and bright.

EASE OF USE
Incredibly simple. Just pop the cap on the end you want to use and flick your wrist in the direction you want the confetti to flow. The other capped end helps secure confetti that might fall out. I've used others with double open ends and you always end up with a confetti falling out the bottom as you raise to flick it.

Overall, if you're looking to make an easy statement that "THIS IS A CELEBRATION", this is a great affordable way to do it. You don't need many to do the job either.” - K Lee

36.) This seed Confetti takes things to the next level and grow into flowers, herbs and vegetables!

Promising Review: “First, they are beautiful colors and the shapes are great. Next, people love them because they can plant them and give back to the earth, and wait for the seeds to sprout and the flowers to grow. We share them at our music events with our audiences to ask people to give to our amazing planet. Gotta love companies like this and the idea of plantable paper.” - oneinsong

~Removing Makeup~

37.) Erase your face cloths can instantly replace all of your one use makeup wipes.

eraseyourface.png

Promising Review: “I'm not kidding when I say that this is the best make up remover I've ever owned. As you can see from the picture, I wear quite a lot of makeup. I use primer, medium coverage foundation, high coverage concealer, powder, the works and setting spray. I've used these for a few years now and I have no regrets. I would say they last about 5-6 months (with washing) before they become worn out. When they do, I like using them to clean my eye shadow brushes in-between application.” - Zoey

38.) These reusable Bamboo Rounds are a sustainable alternative to cotton rounds
that won’t compromise your skin

cottonpad.png

Promising Review: “These bamboo rounds are phenomenal! They are so soft which is essential when removing makeup around your eyes. I just use a little olive oil or coconut oil and my makeup comes off with very little rubbing. They are also larger than standard cotton rounds so you could use 1 for eye makeup removal and whole face. The bag the come in I use to put dirty ones in then just tie once and throw them in with my whites. There are plenty in the pack for the week. I love that I don't have to throw away cotton rounds anymore and limit trash in our household :)” - Jo

Bathroom Essentials

39.) These Biodegradable Q Tips are a perfect zero-waste cotton swab solution.

Promising Review: “Love that these swabs are sustainable cotton, 100% biodegradable, chlorine and fragrance free.

They are super soft. The tips are a bit smaller, the cotton seems to be more densely spun around the stick, but I did not feel a difference when using them in my ears.

I like to use swabs around my eyes when applying or smudging eyeliner, mascara etc and these swabs don't leave any fuzz! They would be perfect for other projects where fuzzies are a problem.

I did receive a gift card for my purchase, although leaving a review was not mandatory. I can definitely recommend these organic swabs, I don't mind spending a little more for organic! It would be great to see these packaged with no plastic.” - Anonymous

40.) Making Recycled Toilet Paper consumes less water, less energy and creates
less air pollution than normal toilet paper.

Promising Review: “This product has been a staple in my life off and on for a number of years, more on than off in my life because as a natural product it has a lot of virtues that non natural products of this caliber do not exhibit. 1st and formost all toilet paper releases loose paper clouds of its substance as you use it and this covers everything close to it but this product releases less than other products of this nature and I was aware of this by touching the toilet paper dispenser when I cleaned my bathroom and compared it with other products and noticed right away the difference so it is a cleaner product to use because of this fact. So for me me, I highly recommend this product solely based on this fact.”

- R. Powell

41.) Low Flow Shower Heads can decrease water consumption by 40% or more!

Promising Review: “Our high end apartment complex decided to change out our high water pressure shower head with something a little more eco friendly. The water pressure was horrible and we had to change it out immediately. I took a leap of faith and purchased this product as it was a little cheaper and didn't look to aesthetically pleasing as it wasn't chrome. However, with that being said, the water pressure is AMAZING. If you like a lot of water pressure, simply take out the part that limits water (mine was shipped with it not installed) and you will be ready to go. I have not tried it with the limiter in because I like as much water pressure as possible. This is by far the best shower head I have ever had or used. It's beat out anything else that I have ever encountered in my life. I highly recommend it. Extremely easy to install, high water pressure, has held up well for several months. Terrific product overall, I can't say anything more about it :)”

- Zach M

42.) Silk floss, because regular floss is just a string of plastic

Promising Review: “Plastic free floss what more could you want?! It’s nice to see and have found “natural” toothpaste with packaging that reflects its product. I used to love those little plastic flossers but I can’t stand the single use aspect of them. It’s about time I found floss that works great and my conscience feels good about using too.” - Destinee

For The Office

43.) This reuseable notebook is truly endlessly reusable.

reuseablenotebook.png

Promising Review: “This is a notebook is better than I expected. I have already had other co-workers order it after they tried it. As an IT professional I use many devices but for quick notes on the go that I can immediately upload and share with others this is the solution. Side notes, the Rocketbook application works perfectly on both iPhone and Android. Also make sure you get the correct type of pens required for the notebook, they are also nice can be used on regular paper and come with a handy eraser on the end.” - Jovi

44.) I recently covered one wall in my office with this whiteboard wall paper and it’s made me so much more productive, and has saved so many pieces of paper.

whiteboard.png

Promising Review: “This contact paper is great! I put a piece on my fridge and I love the fact that I can clear it or wipe it off when guests come over and you’d never see that there is anything on your fridge! It makes it easy to write your lists and notes but also nicely hidden when you want it to be unseen.

I love the packaging, the wipe and three markers it comes with! I was surprised at how much contact paper was left on one roll! It’s fantastic! More to put around the house! ☺️

Maybe a little holder for the markers to be easily kept near the area would be nice! (Maybe magnetic or velcro etc.)

I will be checking back to write a review on if it removes from the surface easily. I know this is a common question on adhesive papers.

Overall so far a great product!” - MaryS

45.) No one is surprised that my favorite pens are made from recycled water bottles, but these actually write better than most pens.

Promising Review: “I really love the idea of getting such a wonderful tool to write down notes, while at the same time being environmentally conscious. These pens are for the exact same quality that pilot always offers with their G-2 series, but has the recycled usage of plastic bottles which in my opinion is an added bonus. Perhaps this may be biased, but I am more than positive that this is indeed the ultimate pen for the person that is constantly writing notes and constantly needing a reliable pen. The blue ink that Pilot offers is professional enough for business purposes, yet eye-popping. I feel like all of the illustrations and writings that I do really stand out on the page that I am writing on, which makes this the perfect pen.” Carlos S.

46.) Pencils you can plant, I”m not sure what could be more cool!

Promising Review: “Very good quality pencils that will be planted after use! Each pencil has it's own set of seeds... mine are labelled: basil, lemon balm, red flax, forget me not, sage, thyme, coriander and calendula. Be aware.. these pencils do not have erasers!” - Sherry Escobar

47.) Recycled white computer paper that you’d never guess was recycled.

Promising Review: “I got the 100% recycled paper and really like it. This paper looks and prints the same as non-recycled paper. So you might as well get this to maintain the planet. The people who say it jams their printer might just have bad printers or put too much in.” - Bryan

48.) These Bagu reusable tote bags are study, stylish and conveniently come individually or a pack of 3

Promising Review: “This is not your usual, flimsy eco-tote. The first time I used it, I carried three 12-can packs (10 lbs. each) of Coke and some other stuff from the drugstore. Any lesser bag would've torn--I've included pictures of what it can carry in one go.

The chihuahuas are adorable and the orange color is vibrant. The nylon is substantial, too, thick in the handles to make carrying heavy groceries more tolerable. I will warn you, though--try to pack your things carefully in this bag. It's not that I don't think it'll live up to its promised 50 lb. limit. It absolutely will. It's that the DISTRIBUTION of that weight, along with the volume of what you've put in the bag, can make it awkward to carry. Big, heavy items may stress certain areas of the bag disproportionately, which I suspect will shorten the bag's lifespan.

In short: great, beautiful bag. Carries a lot, but pack it EVENLY. Folded, fits in a standard jeans' back pocket. Comes with a separate, wallet-like pouch to help it fit in said pocket” - Anonymous

49.) Who needs to buy small travel sized items for each trip, when you have this cute little reusable toiletry kit!

Promising Review: “We bought 12 of these for a 2 week international trip. Used for sunblock, bug spray, shampoo, shower gel, sanitizer, laundry detergent, whatever.

So far so good. They lasted 11 plane trips and the change in cabin pressure. Whether checked baggage or carry on, the locks worked and none of them leaked. I had a couple clipped to my bag with caribiners throughout rough terrain in the brush of Africa and nothing ever broke or leaked.

With the lifetime warranty, we are very happy with these purchases.” Michael C. Morgan

50.) Mesh bags that will hold your fruits and veggies while you shop

Promising Review: “I love these!!! I hate that I forget them often when I go to the store. I get compliments and questions whenever I go somewhere with them. And yeah they have the free plastic ones at the store, but I hate using those all the time and feeling wasteful (however I did learn they are recyclable which is nice) These are easy to toss into the washer at the end of the week and they can hold quite a bit of bigger items (like a stalk of celery or that awkwardly large bundle of kale, even bulk items like nuts) And my fruits and veggies dont get all gross like they do in a plastic bag if I toss items in the fridge while still in the bags, probably because these breathe a little bit. So that's also a huge bonus. I just wish I could remember to bring these with me!” - Rea Sunshine

52.) Hydro Flasks are one of S’well bottles biggest competitors and it can be hard to choose between them - but I’ve found that they’re much more rugged than S’well bottles - love my Hydro Flask for long hikes and generally being outdoors and active. Thanks to the handle.

Promising Review: Two weeks in and I'm loving it. Already traveled on a plane with it, took it to the beach, take it to and from work on my bike every day, and dropped it on the floor. I've never had an insulated bottle before so it's been regularly surprising how cold it keeps my water. I haven't achieved the 6/8+ hours of ice that some people claim, but I also don't use a lot of ice and often don't close the lid out of laziness. Part of the reason I got this one is because it has a flip-top straw sport lid, but I haven't bought it yet. I was surprised by how tall it was, but it needs to be to hold 24 ounces AND fit in cupholders (which it does easily) AND have a vacuum sealed insulated liner inside. I was especially surprised when I leaned forward to sit down after setting it on my desk and dropped my forehead right on top of the bottle. It's gotten a couple tiny knicks and slight scratches on the lid from general use, but that's to be expected. I love the coating on the outside. Easy to hold, never gets condensation due to the insulation, and seems to repel water even when it runs down the sides. Best part though: when you bump it on things it sounds like a low, subtle gong. I do it on accident (and purpose) all the time.” - smuckj

52.) S’well Bottle have truly changed the overpriced reusable bottle game and
have done a tremendous job at getting more people to carry around their own bottle than ever before

Promising Review: “Worst water bottle ever. I got a brain freeze when I chugged my ice water 22 hours later and it was still basically Alaska temperatures. Thankfully, the unexpected penguin fiesta in my mouth numbed my blistered tongue having chugged my bottle thinking it contained water when instead it was the still-piping hot chocolate I put in there 12 hours prior. If you need a bottle that quickly returns all liquids to room temperature, this is definitely not a good choice for you. If you’re looking for a water bottle with a pattern that will quickly fade away or a cap which will lose its water proof seal after one wash, this is not a good choice for you. So disappointing. Why can’t it just fall apart and be awful like other water bottles?!.” - NursePusheen

53.) Coconut Candles are arguably the most eco friendly and sustainable type of candle wax.
They’re completely natural, vegan and burn cleaner than other waxes.

Promising Review: “These candles came in such amazing packing that I even want to buy more for my boyfriend's parents as gifts! so the unboxing of them was really exciting. All the 4 different scents they offer seem really great. I chose 2, and they are both my favorite now! Each of them is great for a different mood! I have the sandalwood one burning on my desk near my bedroom window right now. the fragrance really fills the whole room and the ceramic cup just looks very cute by itself! And they are made of coconut wax, a big plus versus the paraffin candles and soy candles i bought from the past. I have recommended Sijo to friends and will continue to do so.”
